Key Lock for the Centre

The centre we are using for playgroup has just had a new key lock pad fitted to the outside door for security reasons.

I have the code for it and will give everyone a copy of it Friday. If you do not get one, or are not there let me know and I will get one to you.

Christmas Get-together

It has been decided that our annual family Christmas get-together will be on Sunday the 7th of December, so that all of the people that usually go away for Christmas time can share in the fun. A start time of 10.30am was suggested, but this will be finalised in the next couple of weeks.

I have asked Steph to contact her friend to sit in for santa again this year and await his reply.

Our term fees will cover the cost of buying sausages for the kids and also meat for the adults, bread and sauce. Each family is asked to put their name down to bring along either a salad or a desert or some cool drink.

If you would like to parparticipate, each family is asked to also provide a small present for their child/children for Santa to give out on the day.

I hope that you can all be there so we can celebrate together.

Visit to the Fire Station

Hi All

Bec is kindly arranging for us, as a playgroup, to visit the fire station on Friday the 24th of October 2008. Check back in for more info, or come to playgroup on friday for Bec to explain all.

Our activity on Friday the 17th is squishy paint butterflies, run by Christine. You won't need to bring any supplies as we will use the resources of the centre.

See you then!

Fee Changes

Hi everyone,

We have been notified that we are overstaying our finish time for playgroup on a regular basis and so getting half an hour or so free hire, so we have extended playgroup until 12pm, so from this term, we will be meeting from 9.30am until 12pm. We must ensure that we are out of the building promptly by 12pm to avoid any further issues with center management!

There have also been discussions about our term fees. Last term we only just scraped through financially, so from discussions with as many Mums as I could (remember) to talk to, it has been decided that we will increase term fees from $20 to $30 and see how well we are covering costs during term. Fees now work out to be $3 a week, an increase from $2 a week. I hope this is OK by all. If you have any issues, please let myself or Cindy (keeper of moneys) know.

See you all at playgroup!

Christine.
